Collaborative Projects
We welcome all collaborative projects in efforts to fight against the #MMIR epidemic. These are some of the collaborative projects that we have become a part of or currently are working on right now:
Indigenous Voices Rising - Indigenous Voices Rising is a community-based, Indigenous-led research project that was created in response to the urgent call from Native American elders, advocates and crisis responders for more information that can be used to prevent sex trafficking of Indigenous persons. The four-year project is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice.
Healing Justice Project - Launched in 2021, Camila Cabello and Movement Voter Fund select recipients from all walks of life to participate in a healing justice cohort. Organizers learn more about what healing justice means to them and how they can move forward in their frontline work while also advocating for themselves and self-care. The healers cannot heal if they cannot heal themselves.
Urban Native Center - We have done countless collaborations with the Urban Native Center which is located in Sioux City, Iowa. We come together to help the Indigenous communities in or around the Siouxland area.
We also support other tribal organizations and nations, grassroots organizations, and individuals who have been affected by this epidemic.
